Back to Beauty Linkup

Some may already know because I talked about it in my Life Update but I am participating in the Back to Beauty Linkup. This linkup is hosted by Hunter aka Prep on a Budget and Victoria aka Memphis Made. This linkup is obviously all about your favorite beauty products. I am super excited to share mine with y'all and I hope you enjoy!

 

1. What is your favorite beauty product?

Ok I totally cheated on this one and put two beauty products- I just couldn't decide!!



My two favorite products are the Beauty Blender and the Lorac Unzipped palette. I love the Beauty Blender because it truly does flawlessly apply your foundation and concealer. The Lorac Unzipped palette was my first eye shadow palette, and remains my favorite to this day. I love it because the eye shadows are shades I can easily wear everyday, they blend easily, and they stay in place.

2. What kind of look do you like to achieve with your makeup?

What kind of look I like to achieve truly depends on where I am going. At school, I don't wear a lot of makeup at all. For being with friends and church it is usually a full look, but I am not a smoky eye or dark lip girl at all.

3. What products do you use for your everyday look?

Because it is back to school time for this question I decided to show the products I use on a school day.



As you can tell the look is very minimal. I just use two concealers, one for my blemishes, and one for under my eyes. The Covergirl powder I use all over my face. The Clinique eye shadow I use to fill in my brows. The Sephora blush and Too Faced mascara just make me look alive and awake.

4.What do you like about those products?

On a school morning I am all about quick and easy, and I can do that whole look in about five minutes. The concealers are great because they both cover well, my powder really helps me stay a little ore matte throughout the day, filling in my brows helps me look more together, the mascara really opens my eyes and makes me look awake, and the blush is perfect because it is bright but not too bright and really just helps bring color to my face.

5. What is your favorite makeup brand?

As you may be able to tell I use quite a few different brands every day. If I had to choose I would probably say Clinique! I love a lot of what they put and have at least one thing from Clinique in every category of makeup i.e. blush, lip gloss, eye shadow, etc. I also love that all of their products are without fragrance so they won't irritate your skin.

6. Tell us why we should go get your favorite products right now?



My favorite products, mentioned in question 1, are the Beauty Blender and the Lorac Unzipped palette. I think EVERYBODY should own the Beauty Blender because evenly and flawlessly applies makeup to your skin. It is hard to explain, but once you use it, you will just have to get it! The Lorac Unzipped palette is great for anybody- even girls who are just starting doing makeup. It is very natural and easy to blend. I also love how many different looks I am able to get out of it!
