Where we saw it- Girl Code

"You will never look like the girl in the magazine. The girl in the magazine doesn't look like the girl in the magazine."

I thought talking about body imagine would be good for back to school time.You know,  that first day when we walk in and are all so nervous of what everybody will think of us, and how we look. So many times when girls try and look better or lose weight they want to look like that "girl in the magazine" or that "Tumblr girl". Jessimae (shown above) is right, so many times the model in real life doesn't look like the girl in the picture. Photoshop is so prevalent in todays society, but we never stop to think about it when we say, "I want to look like that girl". We should try (I know easier said than done) to be comfortable in our own skin, and never try to push ourselves to look like "that girl in the magazine".

Goal for week 5- Tell yourself you look great, and try and be confident with how you look.
