Disney World Days 4-6

Let's go ahead and start off right where we left off.  Oh and here is a link to Part 1.

Wednesday morning Lizzie's mom and I went to Hollywood Studios to do some more "extreme" rides. This was my first time at Hollywood Studios and my first time doing these rides. Let's just say I was terrified. We got there right as the park opened and had a little time before our first Fastpass. We decided to book it to Tower of Terror to get an early morning ride in. I was so scared...

Wednesday Morning Rides

Tower of Terror- I love the whole ride! They have done a great job with the whole theme of the line and the movie you watch before. I can't really put an age on this ride. I think you will just have to know if your kid is ready to go on it or not. For anybody who loves rides I really recommend this one. Story Time- So once you watch the video you go back to another short line to get into the elevator. I was already so nervous and then they put us on the first row of the elevator, so we were closest to the outside. Once you get inside you go up a few stories then move into a room, then they start to drop you, sometimes in darkness, sometimes you can fully see the outside. They do take your picture on the ride and ours are priceless. This is our first picture:

That's obviously me in the middle and Lizzie's mom is the one in the pink shirt, and we don't know the girl in the black shirt next to me. Yes, the girl whose arm I was holding for the whole ride I don't know! I love that she is laughing at me. When we went down to see the pictures I saw what I was doing and turned around and apologized. She was very understanding and said it was fine-  it totally wasn't.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster- I really enjoyed Tower of Terror so once we started to head to this ride I started freaking out about this. While standing in line to get on the roller coaster you actually watch it takeoff. You actually go from 0-60 in 3 seconds! I was most nervous about the two loops in the ride. Honestly, the roller coaster is going so fast you hardly notice you are going upside down. Something else to note is that this is the smoothest roller coaster I have ever been on; this ride does not jerk you around at all.

Tower of Terror- We did it again and got this amazing picture:

Tower of Terror- We did it one last time.

Muppet Vision 3D- It was ok but I personally prefer Mickey's Philharmagic!

It started raining as soon as we got back to our rooms, so we stayed there until evening. That night everybody headed to Downtown Disney to shop and eat.

Wednesday Dinner

Raglin Roads- The food was great, but the entertainment is what really makes it!

The traditional Irish dancing.

On Thursday we all spent all day in the Magic Kingdom, but we spent half the day apart then half the day together. Dad and I got up early and got to Magic Kingdom as soon as it opened and went to Space Mountain.

 Thursday Morning/Afternoon Rides

Space Mountain- This was our first time to ride Space Mt. and we weren't super impressed. I understand that it is a classic, but I don't think it is worth waiting in long lines to ride this ride.

Splash Mountain- We love this one!

Big Thunder Mountain- Another one we just had to do again.

Mickey's PhilharMagic- This ride/experience is amazing and really doesn't get enough credit. There is barely ever a line, so go and see it! It is a 4D experience that really uses all of your senses.

It's A Small World- I compare this ride to eating a Mickey waffle- even if it's not your favorite, you have to do it.

After this ride we meet back up with everybody, and spent the rest of the day together.

Winnie the Pooh- I still love this ride and I'm 14! Fastpass the ride though, because lines are extremely long. This is a favorite for all ages!

Mickey's PhilharMagic- Yeah! That's right! We did it again!

It's A Small World- Yeah, we did it again!

Peter Pan's Flight- This ride may be my favorite ride in all of Disney! The ride makes it seem like you are flying over London, and all of the Peter Pan scenes. Again, lines are long so get a Fastpass.

Thursday Dinner

Be Our Guest- Oh My Gosh, most amazing dinner ever! We were seated in the West Wing, which was great and I really recommend. We got to see the portrait and the rose, which does something pretty magical when the drum rolls. As an appetizer I had French Onion Soup. It was great and I ate it all up before I thought about a picture. Tip- If you really like what you eat tell the server and they will email you the recipe.

The grey stuff- it really is delicious

Thursday Evening Rides

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train- This is Disney's most recent roller coaster, so we made sure to get a Fastpass. This was really fun and Lizzie loved it. Honestly though, I don't think it is worth a three hour wait. However, if you have a Fastpass it is great experience!

Mad Tea Party- Popularly know as "Tea Cups", this ride spins you around and around. I love this ride, but if you don't like spinning please don't go on this.

Extra

Thursday night we also went to see the Main Street Electrical Parade and Wishes. The Parade and fireworks were great, but the show on the castle in-between these two was the real show stopper.

Friday

It rained all morning and frankly we were so done with rain we just decided to stay in all morning. By the afternoon it had started to clear up so we went to Epcot and walked around the World Showcase for a while.

Friday Dinner

Coral Reef- We have gone to Coral Reef every time we have come to Disney, and we have finally come to some conclusions. The food and atmosphere is great, but the service is slow. If you are willing to wait it's great, but if you are looking for a quick dinner this is not the best pick.

Extra

After dinner we all meet up to watch IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. Before that I wanted a few things... First, my mom and I headed to Morocco to get henna Tattoos. While we were doing that dad headed to Canada to get me a cronut (croissant and doughnut combined) and it was amazing! To watch the fireworks we stood right between Italy and Morocco, and the view was great!

That concludes my Disney series! I really hope y'all liked it. Finally, I have to share this picture with you:

This was how Lizzie was when we landed in Florida. She said it was her first ride. :)
