A Weekend In Arkansas

If I could sum up this trip in one word it would be driving. We woke up bright and early (6:00 am) on Friday to drive 10 hours to North-West Arkansas. We went to Arkansas because my cousin was getting married! We had to leave so early because we were trying to make it in plenty of time for the rehearsal dinner at 7:00. I slept for most of the drive and watched movies for the rest. On the way to Arkansas I watched some of the third season of White Collar.

We went to Copelands for the rehearsal dinner and it was great! They had so many choices on the menu it was hard to pick what to get. This is what I wore:

Then we went back to the hotel and watched  Now You See Me, which is one of my absolute favorite movies!

The wedding was at 11:00 the next morning at the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel. The chapel is stunning! It is full of windows so you can look out on the beautiful woods surrounding the chapel. You can see what I wore to the wedding here.

Everybody in the wedding looked great.

The reception was actually in Missouri, but it ended up only being about 20 minutes away. The reception was at the Cedar Valley Event Center. It was very nice and peaceful out there.

After the reception we all went back to the hotel and wondered what we should do next. We were planning on visiting the University of Arkansas Sunday morning, but with nothing else to do we decided to go then.

It is actually a very nice campus!

That night we just went to dinner with the family.

We drove the 10 hour drive back to Texas again Sunday morning. I watched Letters to Juliet, The Devil Wears Prada, and some more White Collar episodes.

That's it, I hope you enjoyed! There really wasn't too much to say because, as you can see, it was a very short trip.

Have a great weekend!
